I witnessed it transpire with my own eyes
Still, I find it hard to believe

I hope you get everything you desire
I have all that I need

Innocence has no place in the company of wolves
If I have no words, I won’t speak

I’ve fallen short, come back, faced rejection
and been counted out, but I didn’t quit
Now, victory is within reach

Nathaniel Terrell

Nathaniel Terrell is an author, poet, storyteller and artist.
In 2021, he published a collection of poems, Is there not a cause, through Atmosphere Press which was voted as a finalist in the American Writing Award 2021 Poetry. May of 2025, his next collection of poetry, Before the world moves on, will be released through Warrington publishing. Nathaniel also creates spoken word videos for his youtube channel, X and Instagram pages. His work has been published in Maudlin House, Kaytell Ink Publishing, The Blunt Space, Lifewriting.com, Oddball Magazine, Mas Magazine, Retrograde Review and more.
