Our story; our people.

Four Tulips was created in early 2025 with a mission to publish poetry and prose in an accessible format. We have a focus on vivid language and concrete imagery, living in the moment where visual art comes alive through the written word. Four Tulips aims to add new work to the Archives each week and highlight featured authors in our monthly newsletter. Still in our infancy, we hope to bring one physical print of an anthology to our readership annually.

Four Tulips founder, Brittany Garrett, has a background in literature and painting with an MA from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Program for Writers. Author of chapbooks whispers and Monsoons and Wildfires, Brittany has poems and short fiction throughout varied literary magazines and anthologies, and she understands the importance of adding another publication line as a modern writer.

With a love for image-rich poetry and transcending prose, Four Tulips was born. Come along as we grow our garden.
